Emily Whitmire was born August 14, 1931 in Evening Shade Community, Oklahoma, the daughter of Isaih Kennedy and Annie Matilda Asher Kennedy. She passed this life on December 1, 2012 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 81.
