Mr. Johnnie Harold Whisenant was born February 2, 1921 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. The son of John Marimon Whisenant and Mary Jane Renfroe Whisenant. He married Lura Virginia Johnston Whisenant on May 29, 1941 in Warner, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death on June 6, 2006 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. John passed this life on January 6, 2007 in Muskogee, Oklahoma after having attained the age of 85 years, 11 months and 4 days.
Survivors are:
1 Son and 1 daughter-in-law:
John H. and Joyce Whisenant of Alberquerque, NM;
2 daughters & 2 sons-in-law: Virginia Eileen and Joe Shroff of Bixby, Ok.,
Mary Jane and Mark Landin of Tulsa, Ok.;
10 Grandchildren;
7 Great Grandchildren;
he was preceded in death by his wife Lura Virginia Whisenant and 7 brothers and sisters.
