Lula Mae Walters was born April 24, 1927 in Wanette, Oklahoma, the daughter of William Young and Lenora Austin Young. She married Jesse "Rowdy" Walters on September 5, 1945 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on March 15, 1990 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Mrs. Walters passed this life on June 7, 2012 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma after having attained the age of 85 years,
