Mrs. Janice T. Walters was born November 3, 1947 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, the daughter of Troy Cleon Walters and Lenora Spencer Walters. She was a 1967 Graduate of Sallisaw High School and Graduate of Northeastern State University with a Bachelor Degree in Criminology. She was employed by the Cherokee Nation Housing Authority and former manager of the Cherokee Nation Smoke Shop in West Siloam Springs, OK. She was an Antique Dealer and Auctioneer in her earlier years. She was a strong person to the end and her temperment was a force to be aware of. She enjoyed Bingo, She loved horses, her two cats and her beloved dog "Spade" who had preceded her in death. Janice passed this life on April 12, 2008 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma after having attained the age of 60 years, 5 months and 9 days.

2 Sons: Troy Morgan Walters of Oklahoma
David Hurl Lemmons of Arkansas
several nieces, nephews and other extended family members
