Charles Dayton Vann was born May 10, 1934 in Short, Oklahoma, the son of John Franklin Vann and Mina Speir Vann. He married Edna Ruth Dyer Vann on February 1, 1988 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Mr. Vann passed this life on November 18, 2012 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas at the age of 78.
