Loretta Colene Underwood was born March 9, 1932 in Muldrow, Oklahoma, the daughter of Joe Brown Powell and Janie Evaline (Woodward) Powell. Mrs. Underwood was an LPN and a Baptist. She passed this life on October 28, 2016 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas at the age of 84.
Survivors are:
1 son: Leroy Jeremiah and wife Paula of Fort Smith, AR
1 grandson: Casey and wife Kristin Jeremiah of Van Buren, AR
1 granddaughter-in-law: Amanda and husband Jamie Allen of Alma, AR
1 sister: Wilma and husband Jim Luke of CA
2 brothers: Gene Powell of CA, and J.R. Powell and wife Dorothy of CA
5 great grandsons
many nieces, nephews and cousins
She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 sister: Velma Journagan, 3 brothers: Joe Powell, James Franklin "Buddy" Powell, and Jerry Wayne Powell, and 1 grandson: Stuart Jeremiah
Graveside services will be held at 11 am on Monday, October 31, 2016 at Maple Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma.
Viewing will be 2 - 8 pm Sunday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, OK
where the family will greet 2 - 4 pm
