Dorothy Tyner was born July 11, 1928 in Broken Arrow, Ok., the daughter of Jack Dotson and Anna (Dean) Dotson. She was married to Hugh McCoy “Coy” Tyner on February 3, 1945 in Sallisaw, Ok. He preceded her in death on January 27, 2003. Mrs. Tyner was a homemaker. She passed this life on November 30, 2008 in Checotah, Ok. after having attained the age of 80 years, 4 months and 19 days.
Survivors are:
1 daughter and son in law: Wanda and Jim Curtis of Checotah, Ok.
1 son and daughter in law: Billy Wayne and Elizabeth Tyner of Stillwater, Ok.
4 grandchildren: Joe Curtis, Stanley Curtis, Shannon Bollinger and Shelly Rowe
10 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter
3 sisters and 2 brothers in law: Edna and Jackie McFarland of Gore, Ok.Hazel and Arthur Walton of Lampasas, Tx. and Mary Isabell of Tulsa, Ok.
4 brothers and 3 sisters in law: Kenneth and Thelma Barricks of Webbers Falls, Ok., Otto and Shirley Dotson of Sulphur Springs, Tx., Carl and Gail Dotson of Tulare, Ca. and Earl Dotson of Vian, Ok.
Several nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces, great nephews and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 2003 and son: Dale in 1978 |
