Mary Allen Turner was born September 10, 1928 in Hanson, Oklahoma. The daughter of
Buck Cullum and Ruby Anderson Cullum. She was a graduate of Central High School and the former owner/operator of Mary's Beauty Salon. She passed this life on March 9, 2007 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma after having attained the age of
78 years, 5 months and 29 days.
Survivors are:
2 daughters: Pamela Hill of Sallisaw, Ok., and Marilyn Kibbe of Sallisaw, Ok.;
2 sons: Dr. James E. Turner of Sallisaw, Ok.,
and Dr. Max D. Yancy of Oklahoma City, Ok.;
10 grandchildren;
11 great grandchildren;
3 sisters: Betty Bradshaw of Sallisaw, Ok., Jeannie Adams of California, and
Teresa Comer of Sallisaw, Ok.;
1 brother: Frank Cullum of Hanson, Ok.;
Several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Buck and Ruby Cullum;
her husbands: Max Yancy and James Turner;
2 sisters: Euna Coker and Eva Cullum;
3 brothers: James, Carl, and Freddy Cullum. |
