Leatrice Joy Tomlin, 90 of Sallisaw, Oklahoma passed away Thursday, June 15, 2017 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. She was born
January 28, 1927 in Clayton, Oklahoma, the daughter of Minnie J. Bell Swindell and Clarence Newt Swindell. She married
James Alfred Tomlin on March 24, 1945 in McAlester, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on June 22, 1995. Mrs. Tomlin was a homemaker and a CNA for Medical Home Health and of the Assembly of God Faith.
Survivors are:
1 daughter and son in law: Barbara and Jimmy Smith of Sallisaw, OK
1 son and daughter in law: Harold and Doris Tomlin of Sallisaw
4 grandchildren: Dana Goines, Chresten Tomlin, Marcia Farr and Chad Smith
10 great grandchildren
several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 3 brothers: Lloyd, Jack and John Swindell,
and 3 sisters: Jean Shirey, Lajuana Lange and Valerie Averna
Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at First Assembly of God Church in Sallisaw, Oklahoma
under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Sallisaw City Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Chad Smith, Joe Farr, Christian Goines, Jimmy Smith, Bobby Goines and Mike Jamison.
Viewing will be Monday 10 am - 8 pm at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK
where the family will greet friends 6 - 8 pm Monday.
