Jimmy Thomas was born December 26, 1937 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, the son of Walter Thomas and Vida (Price) Thomas. He married Jessie Soap on April 24, 1963 in Stilwell, Oklahoma. Mr. Thomas passed this life on April 16, 2017 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas at the age of 79.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 5 brothers,
and 1 sister
Graveside service is Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 1 pm at Rocky Point Cemetery under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
Active Pallbearers are Dewayne Brown, Dennis Brown, Dewayne Thomas, Billy Woods, Rayburn Poindexter, and David Jarrard.
