Margaret Ann Tate was born Apr. 20, 1933 in Arkoma, Ok., the daughter of George Frances McLemore and Daisy Alice Johnson McLemore. She was married to Joe Allen Tate on Sep. 5, 1949 in Ft. Smith, Ar. He preceded her in death on Nov. 3, 2008 in Muldrow, Ok. Mrs. Tate was a cook at Liberty Schools for 30 years before retiring and a Missionary Baptist. She passed this life on Jan. 7, 2010 in Ft. Smith, Ar. after attaining the age of 76 years, 8 months and 17 days.
