Obituary

Rev. Lavern Stephens was born March 8, 1929 in Watts, Oklahoma, the son of Jess Stephens and Mabel Johnson Stephens.  He married Etta Mae (Bond) Stephens on February 18, 1952 in Van Buren, Arkansas.  He was a Holiness Minister for 65 years and a Propane truck driver for Synergy.  Rev. Stephens passed this life on July 7, 2012 in Roland, Oklahoma after having attained the age of
83 years, 3 months and 29 days.

Survivors are:

wife: Etta Mae of the home

2 daughters: Donna Lavern Choate of Mulberry, AR
and Marsha Morgan of Muldrow, OK

4 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren

2 sisters: Carolyn Igo of Westville, AR
and Mary Ellen Long of Westville, AR

1 brother: Norman Stephens of Oklahoma City, OK

several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends

He was preceded in death by his parents and
1 brother: Melvin Waldron
