Mrs. Steele was born September 13, 1919 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. The daughter of Oscar Borin and Cora Clemintine Petree Borin. She married James Clyde Steele on July 16, 1938 in Shreveport, Louisiana. He preceded her in death on November 4, 1993 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Mrs. Steele was a homemaker and a very talented seamstress. She passed this life on November 18, 2006 in Wichita, Kansas after having attained the age of
87 years, 2 months and 5 days.
Survivors are:

Lawanna Steele Bell and husband Steven Bell of St. Charles, Ms.,
Bettina Pracht and husband Donald of Wichita, Ks.;
3 Grandsons: Phillip Wilhelm and Elizabeth of Long Monte, Co.,
Christopher Wilhelm and Tia of Ketchikan, Ak.,
and James Pracht and Dona of Waverly, Ne.;
7 Great Grandchildren;
Several other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. | |
