Boodknot Sloan was born July 8, 1925 in Pitcher, Oklahoma, the son of Denver Ray Sloan and Eva Lee Stewart Sloan. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. He passed this life on October 28, 2009 in Muskogee, Oklahoma after having attained the age of 84 years, 3 months and 20 days.
Survivors are:
1 daughter: Katie Talbot of Stroud, New South Wales
3 grandchildren: Daniel, Karen, and Tracy
6 great grandchildren
1 sister: Jane Maxson
