J.C. Shockey was born September 4, 1930 in Dustin, Oklahoma, the son of Grover Cleveland Shockey and Stella Mae Harris Shockey. He was married to Juanita Lorene Tomlin on April 1, 1949 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Mr. Shockey was an oil distributor, famrer and rancher. He passed this life on February 29, 2016 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma at the age of 85.

Natalie Shockey and Codie Shockey, Tanner Mayo and Andi Jo Teague
9 great grandchildren: Mikie Pendergraft, Titan Scoggins, Sicily Scoggins, Hatton Cariker,
Gavin Baham, Kerrie Shockey, Haley, Zoi and Matthew Shockey
1 sister: Jeannie Reese of Seminole, OK
numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends
He was preceded in death by his parents, Son: Leonard Ray Shockey,
2 sisters: Norma Robbins and Geraldine Tomlin, and 1 brother: Homer Shockey
Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 3, 2016 at Sallisaw City Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Darrin Guthrie, Devin Guthrie, Tim McKinney, Tommy Ramsey, Codie Shockey and Eddie Stites.
Honorary pallbearers will be Harold Tomlin, Bob Nowlin and Johnny Sumpter.
Viewing will be 10 am - 8 pm Wednesday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK.
