Mr. Jack Lee Shermer
1920 - 2007

 Mr. Shermer was born March 9, 1920 in Muldrow, Oklahoma, the son of Marion Monroe Shermer and Eulalah Valentine Waters Shermer.  He was an electrician and of the Baptist Faith.  He was an Army Veteran of WWII, where he served in the 7th Air Force in the Pacific Theater as a top turret gunner on a B-25.  After returning to the states he was an instructor in the gunnery training school at Keesler Army Air Field in Mississippi.  Mr. Shermer passed this life on August 10, 2007 in Roland, Oklahoma after having attained the age of 87 years, 5 months and 1 day.

He leaves to mourn his passing:
1 daughter: Terri Ann Haywood of Muldrow, Oklahoma
1 son: Craig Lee Shermer of Chattanooga, Tennessee
5 grandchildren: Justin Haywood of Sallisaw, Ok., Cyle Haywood of Columbus, Ks.,
Monica Cauble of Manchester, Tn., Charity Hoover of Dalton, Ga. and
Michael Shermer of Cleveland, Tn.
9 great grandchildren
2 great great grandchildren
1 half-brother: Billy Clyde Shermer of Wilmington, N.C.
1 nephew: Lee Scott Patterson of Roland, Ok.
special friend: Mildred Thompson of Russellville, Ark.
several other relatives and friends

He was preceded in death by his parents, the mother of his children: Dorothy Shermer Sims,
1 sister: Laura Sagely and 1 brother: Marion "Buddy" Shermer
