Rita Faye (Hammock) Russell, 73, of Muldrow, Oklahoma, passed away Sunday, March 19, 2017 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. She was born July 17, 1943 in Muldrow, Oklahoma, the daughter of Hokey Hobart Hammock and Billie (Rogers) Snodgrass. She was married to Jimmy Ray Russell on June 27, 1960 in Muldrow, Oklahoma. She was a seamstress, co-owner/operator of New State Furniture and of the Assembly of God Faith.

2 daughters and sons in law: Tammy and Michael Rhodes of Muldrow, OK and Karen and Chuck Catlett of Muldrow, OK
8 grandchildren: Kyla Sisco and husband Jared, Tyler Russell and wife Rachell, Jonathan Catlett, Whitney Rhodes, Haley Russell, Trey Russell, Grant Catlett and Elijah Catlett
4 great grandchildren: Ryder Dean, Reid Dean, Jaxx Russell and Rhett Russell
cousin: Bobby Joe Harvell of Muldrow, OK
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hokey Hammock and Billie Snodgrass and her grandparents who raised her, Jack and Maud Rogers
Funeral service is Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at 10 am at First Assembly of God Church in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will be at Lee's Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Muldrow, Oklahoma.
Viewing is Tuesday from 10 am - 8 pm at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, Oklahoma. The family will greet friends from 6 - 8 pm at the funeral home.
