Mr. Dean Rodgers
Nov. 3, 1946 - Aug. 2, 2007

 Mr. Earl Dean Rodgers was born November 3, 1946 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. The son of Louis S. Rodgers and Georgia L. Aaron Rodgers. He married
Judy Lockhart Rodgers on June 17, 1966 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Dean was a 1966 Graduate of Sallisaw High School and an Army Veteran of the Vietnam Conflict. He was also a member of the First Christian Church in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He was a former truck driver for Stites Oil, and his own trucking company Rodgers Trucking. Most recently he ran the Sallisaw Truck Center at I40 and 59 Hiway. He enjoyed Fishing and yard work, but he especially enjoyed visiting with the truckers and working on their trucks and having a cup of coffee with them. Dean was a mentor to many young men. Mr. Rodgers passed this life on August 2, 2007 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas after having attained the age of
60 years, 8 months and 29 days.

He leaves to mourn his passing:
wife: Judy of the home;
1 daughter: Lee Ann Langley of Oklahoma City, Ok.;
1 son: Shayne Rodgers of Sallisaw, Ok.;
3 grandchildren: Zackary Todd Rodgers, Dakota Caeli Mabry, and
Drex Aaron Rodgers;
mother: Georgia Rodgers of Skiatook, Ok.;
1 sister: Dianna Bellis of Skiatook, Ok.;
Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends including his Uncle Glenn Wayne Rodgers;

He was preceded in death by his father, a brother: Jerry Rodgers;
a sister: Brenda Woolverton; and was the grandson of
Rev. L.S. "Dick" and Ethel Rodgers.
