Mr. Pliney Edward Risley was born October 3, 1924 in Cookson, Oklahoma. The son of Bert Risley and Jewel Couch Risley. He married
Wanda Collins Risley on July 2, 1949 in Van Buren, Arkansas. Mr. Risley was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corp during WWII. He passed this life on
July 4, 2007 in Vian, Oklahoma after having attained the age of
82 years, 9 months and 1 day.
He leaves to mourn his passing:
wife: Wanda of the home;
2 daughters and 2 sons in law: Evelyn and Mike Rouse of Blackgum, Ok.,
and Janis and Carl Sallee of Blackgum, Ok.;
1 son and daughter in law: Dean and Jackie Risley of Blackgum, Ok.;
8 grandchildren;
7 great grandchildren;
1 sister: Fray Combs of Live Oak, Ca.;
3 brothers: Curtis and Lois Risley of Vian, Ok.,
Jimmy Don and Lena Fern Risley of Vian, Ok., and
Bert Risley, Jr. of Vian, Ok.;
several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers: Delbert and
Johnny Risley.
