Mr. J.W. "Dub" Riggs was born January 11, 1935 in Maple Community, Oklahoma. The son of
Raymond Riggs and Mary Jane Shamblin Riggs. He married Mary Magdalene Villines Riggs on December 22, 1956 in Poteau, Oklahoma. Mr. Riggs was a member of the Liberty Voluntee Fire Department Board of Directors. He passed this life on May 23, 2007 in Muldrow, Oklahoma after having attained the age of
72 years, 4 months and 12 days.
He leaves to mourn his passing:
wife: Magdalene of the home;
3 sons: Ronnie Riggs of Muldrow, Ok., James Riggs of Muldrow, Ok.,
and Wendell Riggs of Muldrow, Ok.;
2 daughters: Monica Shamblin of Muldrow, Ok., Tina Hill of Drumwright, Ok.;
7 grandchildren;
5 sisters: Ruby Moore of Ft. Smith, Ar., Linda Bledsoe, Ann Barnes, Sandra Smith,
and Vicki Boyd all of Muldrow, Ok.;
1 brother: Gilbert Riggs of Muldrow, Ok.;
Several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 sister: Margaret Criswell;
3 brothers: Rick Riggs, Bill Ray Riggs, and Raymond Riggs, Jr.
