Pastor Leroy Reid was born August 11, 1937 in Marble City, Oklahoma, the son of
Rev. Monroe Moody Reid and Mrs. Jewel Violet Conley Reid. He was married to Freddie Mae Ballard on May 24, 1957 in Marble City, Oklahoma. He was Pastor of Blunt Baptist Church
for 13 years. Pastor Reid passed this life on April 29, 2008 at his home after having attained the age of 70 years, 8 months and 18 days.
Survivors are:
wife of 50 years: Freddie of the home
1 daughter and son in law: Rene' and Steve Blount of Sallisaw, Oklahoma
3 sons and daughters in law: Leroy Monroe and Sherree Reid of Sallisaw, Oklahoma
Leslie Claud and Lynn Reid of Coweta, Oklahoma
and Glen Wayne and Lindsey Reid of Tahlequah, Oklahoma
10 grandchildren
4 great grandchildren
1 sister: Leota Ruark of Sallisaw, Oklahoma
several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends
He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 sister: Carolyn Sue Reid
