Mrs. Raney was born July 3, 1917 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma; the daughter of Benjamin Harrison (Ben H.) Collins and Alma James Collins. She married Raymond Avery (Pete) Raney on June 9, 1940 in Charleston, Arkansas. Mrs. Raney was a secretary at the soil conservation service in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Mrs. Raney passed this life on November 27, 2006 in Tulsa, Oklahoma after having attained the age of 89 years, 4 months and 24 days.

2 Daughters: Sharon Janelle of Eugene, OR.,
Patricia Jeanne Raney of Eugene, OR.;
1 Son and Daughter-in-law: Dr. James Edward Raney and
Dr. Bobi Raney of Tulsa, Ok.;
2 Grandchildren: Sherri Brooks and Steven Presley
6 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild;
5 brothers: Eugene Collins of Apache, Ok., Darwin Collins of Salina, Ok.,
Leaton Collins of Salina, Ok., Stanley Collins of Sallisaw, Ok.
and Ewell Dean Collins of Dallas, Tx.
several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends
preceded in death by 3 sisters: Leona, Geneva and Charlene
and 4 brothers: Boyce, Herbert, Aulton and B.H.
