Roberta (Warren) Quakenbush, 93, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma passed away Monday, June 20, 2016 in Sallisaw. She was born July 25, 1922 in Frankfort, Indiana the daughter of Elmer and Marie (Scott) Warren. She married Charles William Quakenbush on November 20, 1942 in Frankfort, Indiana. He preceded her in death on October 16, 2002 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Mrs. Quakenbush worked at a flower shop, was a homemaker and a Methodist. She enjoyed playing bingo, watching TV, and visiting with family and friends.
Survivors are:
1 daughter and son in law: Jan and Richard Grabham of Houston, TX
1 daughter in law: Christine Quakenbush of Sallisaw, OK
8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren
numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, 1 son: Ron Quakenbush,
1 sister: Ruth Paddack, and 2 brothers: Russell and Charles Warren
Funeral service is Thursday, June 23, 2016 at 9 am at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw. Burial will be at Fort Smith National Cemetery under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
