Mrs. JoAnn Phelps Prewett was born September 24, 1940 in Short Community, Oklahoma. The daughter of Mr. Frank Claude Phelps and Mrs. Nannie Ruth Vann Phelps. She married Jimmie Harold Prewett on October 25, 1963 in Stilwell, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on September 18, 1996 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. She was a 1959 graduate of Muldrow High School and a member of Short Baptist Church. Mrs. Prewett passed this life on March 12, 2008 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas after having attained the age of 67 years, 5 months and 17 days.
She leaves to mourn her passing:
1 daughter: Patti Prewett of Muldrow, Ok.
1 son: Rodney Prewett of Muldrow, Ok.
1 step-daughter: Kimmie Voss of Prattville, Alabama
2 special children: Natalie and Cody Fullbright
7 grandchildren
4 great grandchildren
2 sisters: Ada Ross of Muldrow, Ok. and
Morene Shaver of Muldrow, Ok.
1 brother: Otis Joe Phelps of Short community, Ok.
