James Edward "Jim" Potts, 63 of Sallisaw, OK passed away September 16, 2016 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born September 2, 1953 in Fort Smith, Arkansas, the son of John W. Potts and Mabel Alice McInerny Potts. He was married to Stanna Jo Pitts on November 30, 1985 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He was a cabinet builder, a christian and a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at Gateway International Church in Roland, Oklahoma.
Burial will follow at Dwight Mission Cemetery under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK.
Active Pallbearers will be Austin Pitts, Jimmy Potts, Ty Pitts, Sonny Pitts, Aaron Glass and Cody Vann.
Viewing will be noon - 8 pm Tuesday, 10 am - 8 pm Wednesday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK
where the family will greet 6 - 8 pm Tuesday
