Mr. Joel R. Poindexter
1950 - 2008
Mr. Joel R. Poindexter was born July 23, 1950 in Sequoyah County, Oklahoma, the son of Tom Poindexter and Jean Jordan Poindexter. He was a former factory worker, general laborer for Alex Denton, a lifetime member of the VFW and a disabled U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He married Betty Self on December 11, 1991 in Van Buren, Arkansas. Mr. Poindexter passed this life on October 11, 2008 in Ft. Smith, Ar. after having attained the age of 58 years, 2 months and 18 days.
