Ruth Sparks Philpot was born November 11, 1941 in Oklahoma, the daughter of Fannin Franklin Sparks and Willis Irene Harden Sparks. She married Charles Junior Philpot II on February 28, 1958 in Stilwell, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on June 7, 1965 in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Mrs. Philpot passed this life on July 28, 2011 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma after having attained the age of 69 years, 8 months and 17 days.
