Obituary

Jacob Arthur Peck, known by his friends as “Jake” was born February 9, 1949 in Fort Worth, Texas and left this life on December 28, 2012 at the age of 63 years. He was the son of Gene and Mildred Peck.

Jake served two tours of duty on the Mehkong (sp) River in Vietnam on a Navy Patrol Boat. He worked for Parker Drilling and Tri-State Drilling Company traveling all over the United States. He married Marla Maiden in 1990 and soon after moved to Liberty, Oklahoma, where he became General Farm Manager for Willow Creek Farms and was a much loved member of the community, ready to help any and everyone in their time of need. As a Volunteer Fireman for the Liberty Fire Department he helped save many homes and lives.

Jake is survived by his wife Marla and son Ethan of the home, son Oliver of Dallas, Texas and daughter Leslie and grandson Jacob of Houston, Texas, his brothers Larry of Weatherford, Texas, Bob of San Antonio, Texas and Dennis of Dallas, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his brother Tom Peck
of Houston, Texas and his parents.
