Colene J. Payton was born October 8, 1909 in Ft. Smith,
Arkansas. The daughter of William Franklin Myers and Matilda Barling Myers. She married Waldo Payton on March 28, 1958 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Mrs. Payton passed this life on December 30, 2006 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas after having attained the age of 97 years, 2 months and 22 days.

1 Sister: Sophie Tate of Roland, Ok.;
1 Brother: Russell Myers of Sallisaw, Ok.;
13 Grandchildren: Steve Owens, Linda Owens Thomas, Jim Owens,
Gene Owens, Pam Owens Russell, Blaine Owens, Brandi Owens Vann,
Brian Owens, Laramie Owens, Holly Owens, Paige Wood Lattimore,
Heath Wood and Ashley Wood.
