Mr. Parsons was born January 28, 1924 in Jedsonia, Arkansas, the son of Mr. Chambers Alexander "Alec" Parsons and Mrs. Maggie Magnolia Griffin Parsons. He was married to Lillian Mattie Hannings on December 23, 1942 in Searcy, Arkansas. She preceded him in death on July 9, 2001 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Mr. Parsons passed this life on April 14, 2008 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma after having attained the age of 84 years, 2 months and 17 days.
Survivors are:
2 daughters and sons in law: Julie and Joseph Ziemba of Sallisaw, Ok.
and Lori and Richard Gregory of Sallisaw, Ok.
1 son and daughter in law: David Parsons, Jr. and Sue of Sallisaw, Ok.
1 brother: J.C. Parsons of Blythe, Ca.
