Franklin Parker was born April 29, 1935 in Cherry, Tennessee the son of Albert Floyd and Jennie Lucille (Jenkins) Parker. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, a carpenter, and the general foreman at Tupperware in Halls, Tennessee. He was married to Ruth (Hopper) Hopper. Mr. Parker passed this life on June 4, 2017 in Muldrow, Oklahoma at the age of 82.

Survivors are:

wife: Ruth of the home

1 daughter: Terry Thomas of Carthage, MS

2 sons:Bro. Dale Parker of Tulsa, OK and Rev. Dan Parker of Muldrow, OK

6 grandchildren: Matthew Parker, Rachel Parker Martel, Zebulon Parker, April Bledsoe, Joseph Parker and Holly Escue Brown

6 great grandchildren: Parker Brown, Stonewall Bledsoe, Phoenix Bledsoe, Ezra Parker, Elan Parker and Cross Brown

1 sister: Margaret Colvin of Ripley, TN

1 brother: Hank Parker of Newbern, TN

several other relatives and friends

He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother: Thomas Eugene Parker
and 1 grandson: Joey Escue

Viewing is Tuesday from 2 - 8 pm at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, OK. The family will greet from 6 - 8 pm.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Ripley, TN under the direction of Garner Funeral Home in Ripley.
