Matt Owens was born on August 6, 1971 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas the son of Jimmy Earl Owens, Sr. and Sandra Corbit Owens. He was married to Kimberly Warnock on July 17, 1997 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Mr. Owens worked at Windsor Lanes in Oklahoma City. He passed this life on January 25, 2017 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 45.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 am on Monday, January 30, 2017 at Eastside Freewill Baptist Church in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Gans Cemetery under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, Oklahoma.
Active pallbearers will be Jimmy Sutton, Rodney Frampton, Jim Kobriger, Chris Asher, JJ Owens and Kenny Pence.
Honorary pallbearers will be Leroy Fowler Sr, Leroy Fowler Jr. and Roy Schmidt.
Viewing will be 4 - 8 pm Saturday and 2 - 8 pm Sunday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK
where the family will greet 2 - 4 pm Sunday.
