Ray Eugene Owen was born September 18, 1927 in Arkansas City, Kansas, the son of Thomas Miller Owen and Laina Marie Jones Owen. He was married to Jeanne Grose on September 18, 1975 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She preceded him in death on January 15, 2000. Mr. Owen was a machinist and a veteran of the U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force. He passed this life on May 24, 2011 in McAlester, Oklahoma after having attained the age of 83 years, 8 months and 6 days.
