Richard F. Osburn was born December 11, 1932 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma the son of Joseph Lee Osburn and Bertha (McGlothlin) Osburn. He married Rosezetta Carol Osburn on July 14, 1962 and she preceded him in death on December 9, 1988. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of Korea and of the Pentecostal faith. Mr. Osburn passed this life on September 27, 2016 in Altus, Oklahoma at the age of 83.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosezetta; 1 daughter, Marsha Osburn; 2 sons, Richard and Larry Osburn; 2 grandchildren, Richard Osburn and Steven Huntington; parents, Joseph and Bertha Osburn; 1 sister, Marie Osburn; and 6 brothers, Buster, Quinton, Paul, William, Olen and Joseph Osburn
Funeral service is Friday, September 30, 2016 at 3 pm at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Maple Cemetery in Muldrow, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home.
Viewing will Thursday 5 - 8 pm at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
Active Pallbearers are Quinton Osburn, Myron Osburn, Eric Osburn, Steve Osburn, Richard Burett and Clinton Osburn.
Honorary Pallbearers are Dewayne Eaton and Richard D. Osburn.
