Steve Edward Oaks, 60, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma passed away Saturday, March 4, 2017 in Tulsa, Oklahoma He was born November 10, 1956 in Muskogee, Oklahoma, the son of Ernest Thomas Oaks and Lula Norma (Armstrong) Stockton. He was a bus driver and custodian for Sallisaw Public Schools and a Christian.
Survivors are:
3 daughters: Sabrina MacDonald and Shawn of Knoxville, TN, Stevie Oaks of Sallisaw, OK, and Cherese Riggs of Sallisaw, OK
2 sons: Joshua Oaks of Chicago, IL and Keaton Oaks of Sallisaw, OK
2 grandchildren: Kaiely and Devon MacDonald
3 brothers: Jimmy Oaks and Margie of Broken Arrow, OK, Dale Oaks and Maggie of Muskogee, OK,
and Raymond Mitchell and Janet of Coweta, OK
several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Oaks and Lula (Armstrong) Stockton
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at 10 am at First Baptist Church in Sallisaw, Oklahoma
under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
Honorary Pallbearers are Raymond Mitchell, James "Peanut" Long, Dennis Garrett, Mark Allen, Jerry Hale and Joe Gindhart
