Obituary

Mrs. Mary L. Nowlin was born January 18, 1931 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, the daughter of Len A. Carrington and Nancy Elizabeth Farel Carrington. She was married to Phillip Edward "Phil" Nowlin on May 25, 1950 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on March 4, 2008 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Mrs. Nowlin graduated from Tahlequah High School and attended Northeastern State University for 2 years. She was a homemaker and an extraordinary cook and neighbor. She passed this life on August 2, 2009 in Muskogee, Oklahoma after having attained the age of 78 years, 6 months and 14 days.

Jan and Mark Green of Muskogee, Oklahoma
2 sons and 1 daughter in law:
Dr. Bob and Mary Nowlin of Sallisaw, Oklahoma
Bill Nowlin of Tahlequah, Oklahoma
6 grandchildren: Dr. Nicole Mitchell, Robert Edward Nowlin, Kristin Carr, Phillip Fredrick Green, Natalie and Lindsay Nowlin
1 great grandson and 3 great granddaughters
