Mr. Marvin Leon Merrill was born November 15, 1938 in Gans, Oklahoma, the son of Mr. A.H. Merrill and Mrs. Carrie House Merrill. He married Mrs. Sheila Sherman Merrill on February 5, 2005 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. He was a former member of the Muldrow School Board for 14 years, former City Council Member, Owner & Operator of Merrill Satelite Sales, Merrill's Bar-B-Que, The Muldrow Otasco, Porta's Restaurant and Others. He was also a Rancher and a distinguished local businessman. Mr. Merrill passed this life on February 25, 2008 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma after having attained the age of 69 years, 3 months and 10 days.
He leaves to mourn his passing:

Regan and Hayden Merrill of Charlotte, NC.;
1 great grandchild: Molly Nicole Merrill of Arkadelphia, Ar.;
5 sisters: Edith Peterson of Muldrow, Ok., Ruby Gunter of Gans, Ok.,
Bonnie Fout of Sallisaw, Ok., Jean Moody of Howe, Tx., and
Bernice Fox of Sallisaw, Ok.;
1 brother: D.B. Merrill of Muldrow, Ok.;
several other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Mr. A.H. and Mrs. Carrie Merrill;
and 1 brother: A.H. Merrill, Jr.;
