George Marr was born November 23, 1946 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. The son of Arthur Clarence Marr and Grace Nadine Jackson Marr. He married
Janice Marr on May 19, 2000 in Van Buren, Arkansas. George was a retired fireman for the Ft. Smith Fire Department after 24 years of service and was the owner/operator of George Marr Drywall. He played Bass for the group "The Gospel Travelers". George passed this life on October 3, 2007 in Muldrow, Oklahoma after having attained the age of
60 years, 10 months and 10 days.
He leaves to mourn his passing:
wife: Janice of the home;
1 daughter: Melissa Daws of Sallisaw, Ok.;
3 sons: David Marr of Muldrow, Ok., Michael Marr of Poteau, Ok.,
and Matthew Marr of Muldrow, Ok.;
2 step sons: Paul Warford of Washington, and
Michael Clark of Rogers, Ar.;
10 grandchildren;
mother: Grace Marr of Muldrow, Ok.;
1 sister: Donna Kilpatrick of Panama, Ok.;
several other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father: Arthur Marr; and
