Sue Ann Lane was born November 13, 1941 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma the daughter of Wadie and Sylvia Scott. She married Jack Dempsie Lane on July 14, 1961 in Heavener, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on June 11, 1999 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Mrs. Lane passed this life on July 9, 2016 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas at the age of 74. She leaves to mourn her passing: 3 sons: Olen and Vickie Lane of Sallisaw, OK, Jack and Melissa Lane of Sallisaw, OK,  and Larry and Amanda Lane of Ft. Smith, AR 7 grandchildren: Dilhia Lane, Skylar Lane, Shelbie Capps, Nova Lane, Hunter Lane, Cheyenne Lane, and Noah Lane   2 great grandchildren: Noverra and Noelani Johnson 2 sisters: Ruby Bennington of Sallisaw, OK and Shirley Renfro of Muldrow, OK 1 brother: Bob Scott of Van Buren, AR She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Dempsie Lane; her parents, Wadie and Sylvia Scott; 3 brothers, Billy Scott, Eugene Scott and Clyde Scott and 2 sisters Virginia Prawyer and Kay Knight Graveside service is Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at 10 am at Brent Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Viewing is Monday 2 - 8 pm and Tuesday 10 am - 8 pm at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw. The family will greet Tuesday from 6 - 8 pm. Active Pallbearers are Jim Scott, Jeremy McTyre, Frank Fentress, Adam Scott, Billy Scott and Chris Williams. Honorary Pallbearers are Chance Scott, Randall Capps, Drew Fullbright and Stetson Scott.
