Lue Emma (Thomas) Burch Lacy, of Vian, Oklahoma, was born July 28, 1940 in Cruger, Mississippi to Otha Bell Thomas and Sarah (Greer) Thomas. She departed this earthly life on March 31, 2017 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Elmo Lacy and Samuel Burch; her parents, Otha Bell Thomas and Sarah (Greer) Thomas; 1 sister, Alberta Randle; and 2 brothers, Robert and James Thomas
She attended the public school Holly Grove School in Mississippi.
She was baptized at Holly Grove Baptist Church in Mississippi.
During her lifetime she worked for Vian Public School, Vian Nursing Home and Sequoyah Manor Nursing Home in Sallisaw until she retired.
You could always see her sitting on her front porch swinging with a smile and a wave of her hand to
greet anyone and everyone who passed by.
Her hobbies included fishing, working in her yard and flower bed,
and planting a garden each year.
She leaves to cherish her memory:

She is also survived by twenty two nephews and nieces, a host of cousins,
family, and friends.
Funeral service is Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 11 am at Vian Baptist Church in Vian, Oklahoma. Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
Visitation will be Friday from 6 - 8 pm at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
