Obituaries

Ross William Kennedy, resident of Horton Lake, Greenwood, Arkansas and formerly of Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away peacefully July 21, 2017. He had been in the hospital for four weeks due to a stroke and complications from that. He was 63 years old, born March 4th, 1954. Ross was an avid reader and poet. He loved the outdoors and was a great water skier. He had been a machinist most of this life. He was a true star gazer and with the help of his cousin Larry, built the largest telescope in the area at that time. He is survived by his daughter Jasmine; sister, Patricia; and cousin, Larry Kennedy; and many other wonderful cousins and friends. Memorial will be at the Creekmore Park Magnolia Room on August 20, 2017 between 2 and 4 pm. We invite all interested to bring pictures and stories to celebrate his life. He will be interred in Vian at the Garden of Memories Cemetery at a later date.
