Ellen Mae Jarvis, 82 of Sallisaw, OK passed away November 4, 2015 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. She was born August 23, 1933 in Hillsdale, Michigan, the daughter of Ethel Pearl (Hart) Calkins and Robert Clinton Calkins. She married Lanny Gene Jarvis on October 23, 1959 in San Jose, California. He preceded her in death on November 9, 2002 in Sallisaw, OK. Mrs. Jarvis was a healthcare provider.
Survivors are:
2 daughters: Kathy Luttrell of Sallisaw, OK and Mary Ellen Sutcliffe of Los Angeles, CA
1 son: Thomas Jarvis of Indiana
2 grandchildren: Kristy Gabbert and Jessica Kern
4 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild
3 brothers: Vern Calkins, Ken Calkins and Robert Calkins, all of California
She was preceded in death by husband, parents, 1 daughter: Jo Byrd, and 1 great granddaughter: Bradleigh Renee Davis
A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 14, 2015 at noon at the Jarvis home in Sallisaw, OK
Cremation is under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK.
