Mrs. Hendrix was born September 2, 1927 in Van Buren, Arkansas, the daughter of
George L. Cooksey and Estella Franklin Cooksey. She was married to Watie L. Hendrix on
July 8, 1946 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on March 1, 1994 in
Ft. Smith, Arkansas. She was a homemaker and a member of Northside Freewill Baptist
Church in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Mrs. Hendrix passed this life on July 24, 2008 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas after having attained the age of 80 years, 10 months and 22 days.

3 daughters and sons in law: Joyce and Johnny Wilson of Gans, Ok.,
Carolyn and Carl Reeves of Muldrow, Ok.
and Sherry and Doug Bly of Muldrow, Ok.
1 son and daughter in law: Gary and Cindy Hendrix of Gans, Ok.
9 grandchildren: Stephney Allen, Kimberly Cardwell, April Plank,
Bryant, Brad and Brent Reeves, Brandon Hendrix, Craig England, and Kelli Hendrix
1 adopted grandchild: Clifford Fritts
1 sister: Geneva Mainus of Mannford, Ok.
