Barbara Pinkerton Harvell, 74 of Grove, Oklahoma, formerly of Sallisaw, Oklahoma passed away March 1, 2017 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born March 9, 1942 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, the daughter of Watie Pinkerton and Kathleen (Holder) Pinkerton. She was married to Jim "Boog" Harvell on December 8, 1960 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Mrs. Harvell worked at Tinker Air Force Base as a secretary.

2 sons: Brett Harvell and wife, Cheri of Bixby, Oklahoma and Chris Harvell and fiancé, Wendy Hunter of Sand Springs, Oklahoma
2 grandchildren: Sydney Harvell and Bailey Ray Harvell

She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 sister: Helen Drake
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 6, 2017 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma.
Burial will follow at Sallisaw City Cemetery under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home.
Viewing will be 10 am - 8 pm Saturday and 2 - 8 pm Sunday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK
where the family will greet 4 - 6 pm Sunday
