Clarrissa Carroll Harp was born April 26, 1909 in Curtis, Oklahoma. The daughter of George Hotz and Grace Hotz. She married Charles Clifford Carroll on July 24, 1927 in Woodward County, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on June 16, 1980 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. She later remarried to Roy Harp on November 10, 1992 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. She enjoyed her church and was well known for her homemade jelly. Clarrissa passed this life on March 13, 2007 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas after having attained the age of 97 years, 10 months and 17 days.
She leaves to mourn her passing: Husband: Roy of the home; 2 sons: James R. Carroll of Tyler, Tx., and Charles E. Carroll of Sallisaw, Ok.; 1 daughter: Joan E. Jahay of Sallisaw, Ok.; 11 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 14 great great grandchildren; Several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her first husband: Charles Clifford Carroll, 2 sisters, 1 son: Gerald "Corky" Carroll, 3 granddaughters, and 1 grandson. |
