Mrs. Delia Haraway was born January 10, 1929 in Wetumka, Oklahoma, the daughter of Edgar Nolen and Lora (Black) Nolen. She married James Donald Haraway on May 15, 1952 in Van Buren, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on March 29, 2001 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Mrs. Haraway was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Vian and was a second grade school teacher at Marietta Schools for 30 years. Mrs. Haraway passed this life on November 7, 2008 in Vian, Oklahoma after having attained the age of 79 years, 10 months and 28 days.
Survivors are:
1 daughter: Nan Abbott of Muskogee, Ok.
2 sons: Dale Haraway of Vian, Ok. Joe Haraway and Donna Byrd of Vian, Ok.
8 grandchildren: Amanda and Kyle Rozell, Colton and Evan Barnes, Cale Abbott, Shawn Crawford, Kathryn Haraway, Shawn and Sandy Haraway, Kayla Haraway, Jeremy and Misty Haraway
9 great granchildren
2 sisters: Marie and Richard Ice of the Dallas area Suzy and Jimmy Winters of Wetumka, Ok.

She was preceded in death by her husband: James Haraway, her parents: Edgar and Lora Nolen, and 3 brothers: Tommy, Dale and Glen Peewee Nolen
