Jerry E. Gunter was born November 3, 1942 in Muskogee, Oklahoma, the son of Jack P. Gunter and Charlene (Fulbright) Gunter. He was a retired businessman in the Lawn and Landscape Business and most recently was a member of the Cherokee Nation Gaming Commission. He was active in his church where he sang in the choir and was a Veteran of the U.S. Army where he served in the Airborne Division. Mr. Gunter passed this life on April 24, 2009 in Dallas, Texas after having attained the age of 66 years, 5 months and 21 days.
