Edna Sittingdown House Green was born July 18, 1912 in Drakestand Community, Oklahoma. The daughter of Stephen Sittingdown and Lena Smith Sittingdown. She married Hester Green in November 1994 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Edna passed this life on July 2, 2007 in
Sallisaw, Oklahoma after having attained the age of
94 years, 11 months and 14 days.
She leaves to mourn her passing:
husband: Mr. Hester Green of Sallisaw, Ok.;
6 daughters and 3 sons in law: Pat and husband C.B. Cassady of Sallisaw, Ok.,
Brenda and husband Mike Capehart of Sallisaw, Ok.,
Pam Peterson and Lena Harrell, both of Sallisaw, Ok.,
Francis Fargo of Bartlesville, Ark., and
Linda and husband Earl Wheeland of Warren, Tx.;
3 sons: Kenneth House of Excelsior Springs, Mo., Thaduse House and
Donald House both of Sallisaw, Ok.;
22 grandchildren;
24 great grandchildren;
several other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by the father of children and husband: Mr. Samuel House, Jr.;
2 daughters: Loretta House Gamble and Lillie House; 1 great grandson: Alexander Olson;
4 sisters: Minnie Stroud, Agnes Randall, Easter Bond, and Emma Correll;
4 brothers: Thad, Jim, Edgar and infant Clinton Sittingdown. |
