Joshua Shawn Gowen, 35 of Sallisaw, Oklahoma passed this life on January 8, 2016 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. He was born on April 21, 1980 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the son of Larry Dale Gowen and Lynn Barber Gowen. He was married to Michelle Renaee Dreyer Gowen on November 1, 2009 in Louisville, Kentucky. Mr. Gowen was a diesel mechanic.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Brushy Cemetery under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home.
Viewing will be 2 - 8 pm Sunday and 10 am - 8 pm Monday at the funeral home
