Ethel Edwards Gossett was born March 22, 1919 in Alma, Arkansas, the daughter of Thomas Jefferson Edwards and Margaret Elizabeth (Reed) Edwards. She was married to Fred D. Gossett on March 2, 1939 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on September 5, 2012 in Vian, Oklahoma. Mrs. Gossett was a homemaker and a member of Vian Baptist Church. She passed this life on September 1, 2016 in Vian, Oklahoma at the age of 97.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at Vian Baptist Church.
Burial will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home
in Sallisaw, OK.
Viewing will be noon - 8 pm Saturday, 2 - 8 pm Sunday and 10 am - 8 pm Monday at
Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw where the family will greet 6 - 8 pm Monday.
